Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover?

I am based in Warrington but cover the whole of the North-West from Blackpool down to Stoke-on-Trent and from North Wales across to West Yorkshire. My fixed rates include all travelling expenses.

What age group do you cater for?

My magic shows and mini disco shows are aimed primarily for the age group of 2 to 7 yrs. The mini disco show, balloon modelling workshop and circus skills workshop packages can be adapted for children outside of this age range.

Do you use live animals?

I use a live rabbit in every magic performance. The only exception to this is on days of high temperature. The use of a live rabbit in the performance also depends on the well-being of the animal.

Can you perform at house parties?

Yes, i am more than happy to perform at house parties. Approximately 50% of the shows I do take place at home parties. Ideally I need a minimum space of 3 x 3 metres to set up my equipment, however I am flexible.

Do you work outdoors?

I am happy to work outdoors however I must be able to set up on a solid level surface (not grass), fully undercover (gazebo/marquee) with side curtains. There must be zero effect from wind and rain. The gazebo/marquee must be provided by the client.

How do i book and pay for a party?

If you would like to book me, please fill out the contact form or contact by telephone or email. Every booking is secured by a written contract which I will issue by email to confirm your booking. Payment can be made as either cash on arrival on the day or by a BACS transfer. I am unable to accept cheques.

Do you provide party bags?

I don’t provide party bags however I do supply a balloon model plus a quality magic wand for every child at the party. All shows containing a mini disco includes spot prizes for every child plus a pass-the-parcel.

Do you provide your own sound and lighting system?

I am fully contained. I provide all necessary equipment and pride myself on using top of the range equipment. The audio system consists of QSC K12.2 series loudspeakers, Sennheiser EW100 G4 wireless microphones and Denon processing. The lighting used are powerful 100w LED fixtures from Equinox. All of my equipment is professionally flight cased. I am very particular and only use the best equipment available.

Do you have a DBS and insurance?

Yes, I have a DBS certificate, renewed on an annual basis along with Public Liability Insurance. All of my electrical equipment is PAT tested. Certificates are carried with me on every show for inspection. If you require these upfront, these can be emailed as PDF documents for your records.

How much do you charge?

I have set rates for my shows. Midweek shows are discounted by £25, however this excludes December. Please contact me here for a no obligation quote for your function.

How much space do you need?

For home parties I just require a small area to set up my magic table with enough room for the assistants. 3m x 3m usually works well. There is no need for chairs, it works best for the children to be seated on the floor. The setup time takes 20 minutes for all of my shows.

Do you dress like a clown?

I wear brightly coloured clothing and do not resemble a clown. I dress in a brightly coloured polo shirt and colourful trousers.
